This gave the environmental artists a good feel for the project, even though it did have a lot of fiction in the story as well. The game play is mainly in Central and South America, and playing in the ancient world of Mesoamerican societies better known to many as the Mayan
The trailer is brief but if does showcase the beauty of the game. The environments are beautiful and that compliments the game play.

Even with the thrilling game play they have dedicated time to recreate historically accurate environments. The teams of designers have created environments giving us a feel of what it would be like to walk the streets of Renaissance Florence or medieval Jerusalem. The games stunning land scrapes and attention to detail is breath taking. The architecture has been kept as historically accurate as possible and it is noticeable with the smallest details from the stone work to the beams holding up constructions. If it is a game with historical settings few come close.
With so many games in the franchise i have always been a fan. I noticed how the history books i grew up reading seemed to become 3d. Many of the environments that are designed could be re created from those books themselves. I paid a lot of attention to how they used animals in the Nile from Hippos to the infamous Nile crocodiles. Simple well placed assets can set a scene.

Many might question the accuracy behind the game franchise, however there is accuracy when it comes to the visuals. The architecture, armour, siege weapons and ships are all made to be accurate. The game has many inaccuracies, but as a future environmental artist, the assets grab my attention.
With this amazing franchise that has been going for years they have no problem in using historical environments for uses in their game. From when you start out with simple towns folk to slowly build up your town, with the many different orders you can play with the architecture fits the empire you are playing. I noticed how even the siege weapons are made to be as accurate as possible, now with the environments they are simple but are well designed enough to keep players happy.

Just beautiful, as i am interested in environments playing this game is just magical for me. I am a nature lover and when looking at what this game offers it just blows my mid away.
